Sustainable Microhome

The Sun House project was conceived as an entry for the 2020 Microhome competition, which presented a specific square footage area to work within. Embracing the challenge, I designed a microhome that not only optimizes space but also prioritizes sustainability and the integration of nature. The name "Sun House" was chosen to reflect the core concept of allowing sunlight to permeate different areas of the dwelling. This intentional design element not only enhances the living experience but also creates opportunities for a greenhouse garden alongside the house. By incorporating this feature, residents can cultivate their own sustainable garden, promoting self-sufficiency and a closer connection with nature. Within the confines of the competition's restrictions, I carefully designed the Sun House to maximize functionality and comfort.
